Leadership Studies (LDS)

Minor DescriptionThe leadership Studies minor is interdisciplinary in nature and is a significant benefit to students in all areas of study. Courses are designed to give students a theoretical and practical grasp of leadership relying upon the basic assumption that leadership can be learned and, therefore, taught. The minor takes a unique approach to leadership education that combines practical application of leadership theories and opportunities for students to study the characteristics of authority, leadership, social dynamics, political processes and the values that orient human behavior.
