Minor Description

The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) minor is for students seeking knowledge and skills in the field and is especially valuable for those seeking to become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or those seeking to prepare for a graduate program in ABA. The ABA minor is open to all students.

Total Minor Hours - 15 Hours

Core Courses - 12 Hours

  • MHS 3204 Fundamentals of ABA or CLP 4414 Behavior Modification (This course is a prerequisite for all other ABA minor courses so must be taken first.)
  • MHS 4202 Behavioral Assessment and Intervention Planning in ABA
  • MHS 4943 Practicum Seminar in Applied Behavior Analysis (C.R./P.R. MHS 4202)
  • MHS 4412 Research Methods and Ethical Issues in Behavior Analysis (P.R. MHS 4202)
  • MHS 4206 Applied Behavior Analysis in Autism and Developmental Disabilities (P.R. MHS 4202)
